My passion for the perception of space as an architect and artist, significantly influences the way I paint. From a young age I spent time with my father - the artist David Louis and learned from him about colors, materials and compositions, and of the quiet poetry lies in the paintings.

The painting experience for me is a form of communication, a poetic game of sharing and concealment. As an architect I see the thoughts and experiences in a three-dimensional space. That space defined in light and shadow, together with the colors and composition in an attempt to draw the eye into my deeper conception.
